OVERVIEW
Once the Milburn Review is published in September, the debate must quickly move beyond what it says to what role my organisation can play.
We can't afford to delay those answers.
That's why AELP is bringing together leaders from across the skills sector, Government and other interested parties to explore what happens next, turning the Review's recommendations into practical action that helps more young people access productive employment.
Together, we will explore:
- The evidence on what works to improve outcomes for young people.
- How employability providers and skills providers can work more effectively together.
- How commercial skills organisations can work with the voluntary sector in supporting young people into work.
- How solutions can be tailored to the needs of different devolved regions.
- How we can engage and support employers in these endeavours.
Taking place at a central London venue on 15 October, this is a must-attend event for any organisation that has, or wants to have, a role in helping more young people into productive employment.
