Overview
The UK unemployment rate is slowly creeping up and inactivity rates for under 24s are now at an all-time high.
The proposed Future Employment Support Programme is the Government’s new “Flagship” back to work initiative, which will be designed to tackle longer-term unemployment, support young people who are not in education, employment, or training, and help people to progress into employment and ultimately longer-term careers.
This webinar will look at the potential programmes of delivery and the procurement processes, which will help you understand if this is the right opportunity to get involved with, and if so what type of activity you could deliver.
In addition, the session will touch on the devolution agenda and how it will impact on delivery as well as exploring lessons learnt from past initiatives, all of which will help providers secure future contracts.
Objectives
The webinar will help you improve your knowledge about what the Future Employment Support programme is, which will in-turn help organisations potentially secure new contracts. The key takeaways from the session will be:
- A clearer understanding of the future tender opportunities derived from this proposed initiative
- A good understanding of how and when opportunities will come to market
- An understanding of how to plan for potential opportunities over the next 3-6 months
Who should attend?
Those responsible for making decisions on what to bid for and those within each organisation tasked to complete the solution design and tender activity, likely to be:
- Directors
- Business Development Professionals
- Proposal Writers
- Heads of Delivery
