With Ofsted’s new Education Inspection Framework, introduced in November 2025, sharpening its focus on leadership, governance, safeguarding and inclusion, there has never been a more important time for post-16 providers to come together, learn from sector experts and help providers prepare for their own inspections and fine tune policies and processes to ensure they align with the current direction and policy landscape.
The AELP Safeguarding, Inclusion and Governance (SIG) Summit is a must-attend, face-to-face event for leaders, governors, nominees/shadow nominees, designated safeguarding leads and officers, quality professionals and inclusion specialists across the post-16 skills sector.
Bringing together Ofsted representatives, influential sector leaders and expert practitioners, the summit will provide critical insight into the latest developments shaping safeguarding, inclusion and governance. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the increasing expectations around organisational culture, learner safety, leadership accountability and inclusive practice, while exploring what effective implementation looks like in practice.
Across a programme of keynote presentations, panel discussions and interactive workshops, delegates will hear directly from Ofsted, learn from examples of excellence across the sector and take away practical strategies to strengthen their organisation’s approach. The event could also count towards your team’s regular CPD requirements early in the academic year
