Adopting an effective and lean approach to your 2024/25 Self-Assessment reporting process
Overview
This workshop will help providers to review their SAR and QIP processes. We take a lens on how to structure and write a highly effective SAR without ‘War and Peace’ to keep it succinct, transparent, evaluative, judgmental and honest in its approach.
Hear from Ian Smith and me about your strategy and ways of working to develop our SAR with an organic, whole organisational approach to your SAR and QIP. Ian is a former senior Ofsted HMI and inspector. While he still inspects, as we both do. Ian, like me, is also chair of the governance boards of grade 2 good training providers, and we are both quality improvement consultants. We have Sue Gomer to discuss her SAR and QIP process as an Ofsted-judged Grade 2 'good' provider from the perspective of an independent training provider and apprenticeship provision.
Durning the morning, we will explore any information about the new Ofsted inspection framework and implications for SAR and QIP development.
Group interactive working sessions will take place during the morning, where you will be able to explore and share practice with like-minded provider colleagues in a confidential setting, with plenty of time to ask questions and clarify key points. We will also share SAR and QIP resources and guidance with you during the workshop. We look forward to welcoming and working with you during the morning.
