The Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP) is the national voice representing the skills, employability and learning provider sector. We champion high-quality skills provision and work to ensure our members’ voices shape national and regional policy. We are looking for an exceptional Senior Policy Manager (Adult Skills & Devolution) to work with the Deputy CEO and Director of Policy to lead AELP’s national policy, influencing, and lobbying activity across one of the most high-profile and rapidly evolving areas of skills policy.
About the Role
This is a pivotal post at the heart of AELP’s policy and influencing work. You will be our senior expert voice on adult skills and devolution, shaping national debate, leading policy development, and influencing government and Mayoral Strategic Authorities during a period of major reform.
Working closely with senior leaders, members, government officials and regional authorities, you will ensure AELP remains an authoritative, influential organisation that drives meaningful change across the adult skills system.
The role is homebased, with regular nationwide travel to meet stakeholders, attend regional events and represent AELP at high-level meetings.
