AELP publishes employer summit findings
Last month, AELP and The 5% Club hosted an employer summit to explore practical ways to improve how the apprenticeship system works.
35 employer representatives - including UCAS, Amey, the Ministry of Defence, Grant Thornton UK LLP, Arcadis, RNIB, Mace and KPMG LLP - met at BPP’s City of London centre in February and identified seven major themes for discussion:
- Functional & inclusive maths
- How to support SMEs
- Standards
- End Point Assessment
- Devolution
- The role of the employer
- Careers Pathways
