AELP appoints Kelly Huntington as new Director of Membership and Growth

The Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP) has today announced that Kelly Huntington has been appointed to the role of Director of Membership and Growth.

Kelly joins AELP with a proven track record of strategic innovation, having previously worked at HR Connect – part of the Commercial Services Group – where she was Head of Commercial and a key part of the organisation’s senior leadership team. Prior to that, Kelly worked for the Vocational Qualification Charitable Trust, Association of Accounting Technicians and K College.

As AELP’s Director of Membership and Growth, Kelly will look to grow the organisation’s membership and lead strategic initiatives to empower and connect training providers, colleges, universities, and employers within the education sector. She will take up the post on Monday 17 June.

Ben Rowland, AELP Chief Executive, said:

"I am delighted to announce that Kelly Huntington will be joining AELP as our new Director of Membership and Growth. This is pivotal time for AELP and its members as we head towards a General Election and, potentially, a change of government. Throughout the recruitment process Kelly demonstrated the qualities AELP needs to grow and to help the organisation deliver more for our members – so I’m looking forward to her starting on 17 June.”

Kelly Huntington, incoming AELP Director of Membership and Growth, added:

“I am excited about taking this opportunity to deliver for AELP members and the wider skills sector. With over two decades of dynamic leadership experience driving commercial success and operational excellence across diverse sectors, I am delighted to be able to bring my expertise to AELP. I can’t wait to get started.”
