Partnership in Practice: Connecting Providers and Employers? - Sponsored by PeoplePlus (FREE to attend)
Connecting providers and employers to get more people into work and keep them there
This webinar is FREE to attend, as it is kindly sponsored by PeoplePlus.
Overview
More people are competing for fewer jobs. UK unemployment has risen to 4.9% and vacancies are at their lowest level since 2014, outside the pandemic. When employers can be selective, being ready for work is what gets someone through the door, and the right support is what keeps them there.
The sector working on this is huge. More than 30,000 organisations deliver employment and skills support in England, across thousands of programmes and funding streams. For an employer hiring across several regions, that can mean a different provider in every area, different paperwork and nobody responsible for the pipeline as a whole.
In this session, Nick Moss, Operations & Business Manager at PeoplePlus, will show how the Social Recruitment Framework connects providers with employers who have real vacancies to fill, across multiple sites and sectors. The Framework handles the logistics behind each job start. Employers get one point of contact, and candidate attraction, training coordination and interview scheduling are managed across all their sites, with a guaranteed interview at the end of pre-employment training. That leaves providers free to focus on preparing people for work, knowing there’s a job at the end of it. Nick will also explain how the DWP-endorsed Social Recruitment Covenant brings together employers who have already committed to fair-chance hiring, and share results from a warehouse recruitment programme in Doncaster.
The Framework doesn’t compete with providers, it’s a route into employer demand at a scale no single organisation can reach alone.
