Join this onboarding session which has been designed to help new AELP members quickly understand how to make the most of your membership. You’ll hear directly from senior colleagues on AELP’s current policy priorities, campaigns and sector engagement, with practical insight into how members can get involved and have their voice heard.
The session will then provide a hands-on walkthrough of AELP’s systems and services, including how to access resources, book onto webinars and secure tickets for events—ensuring you’re set up and ready to benefit from everything on offer from day one of your membership.

Ben Rowland is Chief Executive of the Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP), the national membership organisation representing independent training providers, HEIs, employer providers and colleges delivering apprenticeships and skills programmes across England.
Simon Ashworth
Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Policy, AELP
Simon is currently the Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Policy for the Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP) and is responsible for developing and implementing AELP’s policy approach including responding and influencing stakeholder policy and ensuring it is in line with the Board’s short and long-term objectives.
