Overview

This practical webinar is part of our Teaching with Impact, Supported by Great Theory series, designed to transform pedagogical theory into effective teaching practice.

Each session focuses on understanding and applying Pedagogical theory to make sure that our teaching practice is informed by an evidence-based, understanding of good practice.

In an ever-changing educational landscape, learners need more than subject knowledge — they need to understand how they learn. Metacognition sits at the heart of effective learning, empowering students to plan, monitor, and evaluate their own progress.

This interactive webinar explores how metacognitive approaches can be embedded into everyday teaching practice to improve learner engagement, independence, and achievement.
