Led by AELP CEO Ben Rowland and Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Policy Simon Ashworth, the session will outline the key priorities guiding AELP’s work over the next three years, including how we plan to represent members, influence policy, and strengthen the sector's voice. 

Attendees will hear the thinking behind the strategy, reflect on and feedback on how it can support their organisation.

Ben Rowland is Chief Executive of the Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP), the national membership organisation representing independent training providers, HEIs, employer providers and colleges delivering apprenticeships and skills programmes across England.

Simon Ashworth, Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Policy, AELP

Simon is currently the Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Policy for the Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP) and is responsible for developing and implementing AELP’s policy approach including responding and influencing stakeholder policy and ensuring it is in line with the Board’s short and long-term objectives.
