Effective On-Programme Apprenticeship Assessment
Practical strategies to design, deliver, and quality assure effective apprenticeship assessment
Overview
Making On-Programme Assessment Work (for trainers)
🔍 Get Ready for a New Era of Apprenticeship Assessment
Apprenticeship assessment is changing. As the sector moves away from high-stakes endpoint assessment towards a more embedded, on-programme assessment model, providers now take centre stage in shaping fair, valid and high-quality assessment experiences for learners.
Join this practical, insight-driven webinar to discover how to design and deliver robust on-programme assessments that meet the latest DwP/DfE and Skills England expectations.
You’ll explore what good assessment looks like — from authentic workplace tasks and provider-marked projects to formative assessments that feed into final grading. Drawing on early examples from new and reformed standards such as Assistant Accountant and Early Years Educator, you’ll gain a clear picture of how to make assessment meaningful, fair, and aligned with real occupational competence.
