Designed for professionals in post-16 education and training, this session will help you understand your legal responsibilities and equip you with practical strategies to safeguard learners from radicalisation and extremism.

Participants will gain insight into the national strategy, key terminology, and referral processes, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements while fostering resilience through British values.

  • Implement the legal due regard for preventing terrorism
  • Explore the Prevent Duty guidance, including key terminology
  • Recognise susceptibility indicators and the impact of radicalisation
  • Understand current threat levels in the UK, including referral data
  • Explore the ideological context, including the manosphere
  • Learn how and when to make a referral
  • Develop resilience through the promotion of British values
