Overview
PDSATs are one of the most powerful – and often under-used – tools available to providers to protect funding and demonstrate compliance. Yet many organisations struggle to interpret reports, prioritise risks, and confidently evidence their data decisions.
In this practical, insight-driven webinar, former DfE audit manager Rupert Crossland will guide you through how to use PDSATs effectively to identify, investigate, and resolve data anomalies before they become audit findings.
You will gain a clearer understanding of how DfE auditors interpret PDSAT outputs, what triggers deeper investigation, and how to ensure your learner evidence and ILR data stand up to scrutiny.
By strengthening your approach to PDSAT analysis, you can reduce funding risk, minimise audit errors, and safeguard your organisation’s reputation with the DfE.

- Develop clear audit-ready rationales for data exceptions
