How to Engage with your Newly Elected Political Representatives and Policymakers

Facilitator: Lee Findell, Partner, WA Communications

Overview

The general election witnessed sweeping political change. 350 new MPs were elected, and Labour was returned to power for the first time in 14 years.  This followed local and mayoral elections in May which also saw power change hands across England.

This session is designed to equip you with strategies to engage effectively with your newly elected representatives as the new government introduces significant changes to the skills policy landscape:

  • To gain insights into the government’s skills policy agenda and why they are doing what they are doing;
  • Practical tips for building rapport with your elected representatives, helping to advance the sector's policy goals and enhance the reputation of training providers among policymakers during this critical period of time.

This webinar is complimentary to AELP members.
