Overview

This webinar will help participants design and deliver practical, work-based learning tasks that not only engage learners but also lead to meaningful, lasting learning. By grounding activities in the principles of experiential learning, attendees will gain insights into how to move beyond simple task completion toward experiences that foster critical thinking, reflection, and the transfer of skills to real-world situations. Whether you’re facilitating in classrooms, workshops, or workplace settings, this session will provide a framework for turning active participation into deep learning, enhancing learner outcomes and professional practice.

Objectives

This webinar will help delegates to:

  • Understand the Principles of Experiential Learning: Participants will explore the concept of experiential learning and its relevance in fostering deep, transferable knowledge.
  • Explore Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle: Participants will identify the stages of Kolb’s cycle (Concrete Experience, Reflective Observation, Abstract Conceptualization, and Active Experimentation) and how they apply to teaching and learning.
  • Develop Strategies for Experiential Learning: Participants will design activities that integrate experiential learning principles into their teaching or workplace practices.
  • Reflect on Current Practices: Participants will evaluate their use of experiential learning and identify opportunities to enhance their approach.
