Objectives
This webinar will help delegates to:
- Understand the Principles of Experiential Learning: Participants will explore the concept of experiential learning and its relevance in fostering deep, transferable knowledge.
- Explore Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle: Participants will identify the stages of Kolb’s cycle (Concrete Experience, Reflective Observation, Abstract Conceptualization, and Active Experimentation) and how they apply to teaching and learning.
- Develop Strategies for Experiential Learning: Participants will design activities that integrate experiential learning principles into their teaching or workplace practices.
- Reflect on Current Practices: Participants will evaluate their use of experiential learning and identify opportunities to enhance their approach.

Paul Wakeling, Education Consultant
Paul Wakeling qualified as a teacher in 1993 and has had a number of roles in the Learning and Skills Sector, including Principal of Havering Sixth Form College, Group Deputy Principal of New City College and Exec Director of E- Learning at The Skills Network. Paul now works across the sector with a focus of leadership development and the development of teaching, learning and assessment. He is also Chair of Governors at USP College.
