Consultation on implementation of new English and maths GCSEs | 29 Jul 2014
NIACE are leading the consultation on the implementation of the new GCSEs in maths and English on behalf of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and The Department for Education (DfE) and are now seeking views from across the sector on what systems need to be in place to support young adults, adult learners, trainees and apprentices to achieve the new qualifications, which will become the national standard qualification at Level 2 for students in 16-19 education by September 2017 and by 2020 for adults.
