This workshop is being delivered again due to popular demand

This one day workshop will provide an essential overview of the significant differences with the reformed Functional Skills in English and maths at Entry 1, 2 and 3 and help to prepare for the transition to the reformed qualifications and new delivery requirements.

Activities will allow time to reflect on any changes needed within your organisation and start to formulate a transitional plan, to support a smooth implementation in September 2019.

The workshop is aimed at practitioners delivering, or managers supporting, the implementation of the reformed Entry 1, 2 and 3 Functional Skills English and mathematics qualifications

The workshop will focus on:

  • Understanding the new requirements and additional challenge for learners with the reformed Functional Skills at Entry 1,2 and 3 English and mathematics
  • determine the differences between the legacy Entry 1, 2 and 3 English and mathematics Functional Skills and the reformed Entry 1, 2 and 3 qualifications;
  • delivery planning for areas of increased challenge for learners
  • CPPD awareness related to specific subject content for staff delivering the reforms;
  • review of resources that support the new delivery requirements
  • planning for implementation and impact on resource and programme development;
  • planning for transitional requirements of the legacy qualifications and increased quality assurance.
