Each subject will be split into two interactive half-day workshops which will explore the subject in detail and allow delegates to interact with the facilitator, Christine Edwards, and their peers in a mix of plenary and breakout sessions.
Following the completion of the virtual workshop delegates will receive a CPD certificate issued by Creating Excellence. This will include a section for the delegates' own personal reflections and key questions.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS MATHS

This is an interactive two half-day online workshops for those who are confident with their own maths ability at Level 2 and above, wanting to further develop their skills in order to support others, virtually and face to face, to be able to deliver Functional Skills maths to learners at Level 1 and Level 2 more confidently.
The workshop sessions will cover the requirements of Level 1 and Level 2 Functional maths and provide an in-depth understanding of the qualification expectations, challenges for learners and barriers and challenges for vocational tutors.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS ENGLISH
Friday, 11 December and Monday, 14 December 2020 | 09:30 am - 12:30 pm on both days
These interactive two half-day workshops will explore, with a view to fully understand, the requirements for Level 1 and Level 2 Functional English. The content is designed to support staff who are delivering Functional Skills English confidently, in order to further develop their skills and support capacity building for English delivery within their organisation.
Tutors, Trainers, Teachers or Practitioners delivering Functional Skills who feel confident with their own maths/English Functional Skills to Level 2 and supporting learners with their development towards successful completion of Functional Skills maths/English end assessment.
