Requests to change the 2010/11 ILR (on behalf of the information authority)

Last updated: 2 Jul 2009

The Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF) requested that learner numbers are made available earlier to facilitate the operation of the YPLA National Commissioning Framework and aid planning so that allocations to local authorities and providers can be earlier. Their initial proposal suggested that the reference date was brought forward to 15th October. Following the comments received to the initial change request, the information authority has worked with DCSF to amend the original proposal.
The revised proposal for bringing forward the F01 collection date is now available in the Change Requests for 2010/11 ILR document, which is available for download via the Request for Change pages on the information authority’s website. The original Change Request is also available in this document, for reference.
The information authority are now consulting on the proposed changes via feconnect. The consultation will close on Friday 24th July, at which point the information authority secretariat will collate the responses and use them to make a recommendation to the information authority board on Wednesday 30th September
