Membership Administrator

AELP currently have a vacancy within the Membership & Marketing team for a full time Membership Administrator Apprentice.
Details
This full time position would be a good opportunity for an individual who has already achieved 5 GCSEs including English and Maths and or holds a level 2 Business Administration qualification and now wants to embark on an Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 programme.

The role will involve assisting the Membership & Marketing Co-ordinator in the following areas
a) New membership recruitment and support towards targeting employer providers, subcontractors and providers delivering government funded provisions who are not AELP members
b) Increasing membership retention, to minimise the churn of members and loss of revenue through regular engagement and follow up calls
c) Maintenance of the membership database and links to Sage database, ensuring all contact data is correct and updated
d) Cleaning of prospects list database for new leads including cross referencing of supplier spreadsheets
e) Keep all members informed and updated re communication, benefits and services
f) Support accounts teams to follow up member annual membership renewal fees
g) Analysis of ex members and the use of data trend to re-engage ex members through targeted surveys
h) Follow up inbound new membership enquiries and or existing member enquiries
i) Admin support and staff cover during staff holiday and external events, e.g. patron events, preparation of member packs
j) Attention to detail and an excellent telephone manner are essential
