DWP has announced a series of one day events during December across England, Scotland and Wales. The events offer an opportunity for providers to learn more about and influence the emerging design of the new specialist disability employment programme and the procurement process. Seven events have been organised, three of which are being aimed specifically at supported businesses. The list below indicates the closing dates for applications to attend each event:

•  2 December - Dundee (Closing date: Tuesday 25 November) Supported Business event
•  3 December - Cardiff (Closing date: Tuesday 25th November)
•  4 December - Bristol (Closing date: Friday 28 November) Supported Business event
•  8 December - Edinburgh (Closing date: Wednesday  26th November)
• 11 December - London (Closing date: Thursday 27th November)
• 15 December - Newcastle (Closing date: Monday 1st December)
• 16 December - London (Closing date: Tuesday 2 December) Supported Business event
